Car Crash and a whole lot more…
Well, there is a lot to say and not a whole lot of time to say it all.
First, shortly after my first podcast I was involved in a car “accident”. I have put that in quotes because after being through this experience I can honestly say that I do not completely understand why the word “accident” is used in these instances. Sure, it’s probably not anybodies fault that the other person behind the wheel was drinking… I’m sure that was an accident. Or that she was traveling at around twice the posted speed or that she crossed the median and “accidentally” hit the front of my car.
Yep, I’m sure that was all just an “accident”.
But, no matter what word you use in these cases, I was sent to the hospital, revived (I am told) less than half a dozen times, put into a medically induced coma for 3 weeks and finally sent home yesterday morning just to have the pleasure of looking forward to several weeks of physical therapy.
Okay, so I’m going to miss work, I missed ARGFest, I don’t know if the ARG that I was helping on is even still in existence (I looked at the forum – non-existent. I looked at the chat room – empty for at least a couple of weeks), I’ll miss work for God only knows how many weeks and I have about 3 weeks worth of my life that I do not remember.
Other than that, the world is hunky dory (heck, I’m surprised that I even remembered that this thing still existed).
Am I mad about what happened? Nah, not enough time to be mad about things anymore. I was never told, and I never asked, if the woman who hit me was still breathing. To be completely honest with you I don’t care either way. It may seem heartless but the odds of me running into her again (no pun intended) are minimal and so her being alive or not does not really effect me. I hope that she isn’t. I do not wish harm on anyone, no matter what the situation is or how their actions have effected my life.
So, that’s the situation and an explanation, however short it may be, to “what ever happened to the blog and the podcast?”
I’ll update you when I get a chance again. My voice isn’t where it was yet so you will need to give me some time. I have been told it will be a few weeks or more before things will be in “working order” and I’ll try to do a podcast at that time. Again, I’ll let you know.
It’s up and running… yes, it is… I promise
Okay, I’ve uploaded, checked and rechecked that the podcast is up and running… and it is.

Podcast – Episode 1
This post may need to be edited a number of different times before I actually get it right, but the first episode of the “How to Create an ‘ARG’”, the podcast, is done and up for any of you who may be interested in hearing it.
There have been some life issues that have gotten in the way of me getting this done earlier, but I did get it done. I’m sorry for the wait.
And, yes… the music intro will be changed for the next episode because I don’t like it. It was my first time using FruityLoops so I didn’t get it sounding like I wanted it to. I had to settle.
That said, I hope that you enjoy it.
Houston, we have a problem.
So I was about to create some voice work for the podcast promo that I have been figuring out all day and found out that I have one minor problem – my microphone broke.
So instead of having the promo ready today, it will probably be a few more days because of work and getting out to purchase another microphone.
Check back in a few days and I will have a post up on the progress. Hopefully, with some luck, I’ll actually have it ready.
Wednesday
Tomorrow (Wednesday) I will be spending the day creating and uploading the “promo-cast” for the “How to Create an ARG” podcast. Up until now I have been trying different sounds for the music background but just have not found the right one. However, tomorrow will be a full day of creating and ultimately choosing the sound that I want. I hope you like it.
